We are so proud that District 102 has many students who love math and seek to enrich their experience by joining the MathCounts Club. On May 12, Aptakisic's MathCounts team competed in the annual math consortium contest at Stevenson High School.
The contest focuses on individual speed, accuracy, problem-solving, and mathematical reasoning, as well as team problem-solving and collaboration. Our team took 2nd place overall in the competition! Congratulations to Bowen Li who finished 3rd overall in the 7th grade written portion. Additionally, our 8-person team finished 1st overall. Thank you to our coaches Ross Agrest and Hanna Yang for your dedication to the MathCounts Club.
